I created this canvas art for my daughter’s drama coach, Cynthia Ganter-Givens. Drama from the Soul is the name of her company. Mrs. Givens is a long time resident of Chicago's Westside. She has a strong passion for the theater and it shows in the training she has instilled in her students. The canvas measures 20” x 20”. I painted the background. The drama faces are made of silk and cotton fabric, and outline with a new product I purchased earlier this year fusible ribbon. I embellished it with a few colorful stars, and to give it that final bling, I added rhinestones to the name. Mrs. Givens was speechless when she opened her Christmas gift. She is one of the reasons I do what I do. “Make people smile.”
