It has been awhile since I last posted my work, yet I have been quite busy. For the Fast Friday Fabric Challenge #10, the challenge was to create a quilt using material not bought at a fabric store, spending no more than $5.00. This quilt was created using a lei I bought from the dollar store. I took the lei apart sewing the petals together creating my background. The straw pieces used to separate the petals were put together to create the tree. I bought the birds from a resale shop. They were natural in color, I add color to the birds to give it a tropical look. I call this quilt "Paradise."
